The philosophy of Northpoint Cooperative Preschool is that we all learn together - adults and children alike. Guided by our qualified, caring, and endlessly imaginative teachers, co-op parents create an environment of learning and support for all our children. Our curriculum encourages our children to learn by exploring, imagining, and experiencing. Activities fit their interests and capabilities and encourage physical, intellectual, and social-emotional growth. A board of directors, made up of parents serving in various volunteer roles, guides the overall administration of our preschool.
Parents actively participate in each classroom! During each scheduled class time, there are three working parents who aid the teacher. During your time in the classroom, you will assist as either an art working parent, snack working parent or teaching assistant. In addition, when you enroll at Northpoint Preschool, you are automatically enrolled at Bates Technical College where you can earn parent education credits by working in the classroom and attending various preschool activities throughout the school year.
